We talk and speak and utter words, yet, scarcely put an effort to do it correctly. Often, though, the intonation pattern and stress are neglected. The pronunciation is a core of every language one may come along in the world. The pronunciation errors may lead to miscommunication; e.g soup may be mispronounced as soap. A constant mispronunciation of phonemes may cause a severe difficulties to be understood by native speakers of a particular country, English tends to be a bit difficult if it occurs. The wrong and inaccurate usage of suprasegmental elements which are the intonation and stress causes problems with language acquisition sometimes makes the language impossible to learn. Language has got its own pattern, it is an irreversible structure which is not altered, it might be modified, but the core structure reminds the same. e.g. /əʊ/ in a world 'open' and 'window' the stress syllable varies and intonation pattern changes. The beginning of the colonial life in America was rough. The British were unscrupulous in making the colony the most successful entrepreneurship so far out of the British Isles . It was not easy to sustain and maintain the order and leadership. However when it was finally done, the colony was thriving. It grew in territory very quickly by 1733 the English managed to build and owe 13 separate colonies. It was wide spread from the New Hampshire to the  South Georgia . The division was crucial, three groups of colonies emerged – each with its unique style of life and character. The most distinctive one was New England group. Its center Massachusetts was rich and fast-developing point mostly due to craftsmanship, fishing industry, farming. The soil was rich with nutriments, yet, stony and difficult to master. Speech consists of features of pronunciation; which are phonemes, consonants (voiced and unvoiced), vowels (single vowels which are short and long) and diphthongs. As well as Suprasegmental Features which are intonation and stress (word stress and sentence stress. Let’s start from phonemes, they differ, they are different sounds within the language. The difference is slightly noticeable in the articulation of individual sounds, it is the way each of the particular sound is produced. It is the sound which can change the meaning of the word for example hat [hat] and the word hut [ h ʌ t]. Another importance, sounds might be voiced and unvoiced – voiceless. Voiced sounds occur when the vocal cords in the larynx are vibrated. English language teaching is not an easy task, yet, it might be very successful if teacher who plays a key role in this process fulfills certain requirements.  Some my I ask; who is a perfect teacher? Well, there is no perfect teacher, yet, there are some features which make a person a good teacher.   Good teachers lead the lesson in a way it doesn’t make students bored to death, so they will not fall asleep. It also means teachers like their job very much and do all they can to make their lesson interesting. The personality of the person is crucial, it reflects the lesson and vice versa. The variety of angles the lesson portrays the subject is important, teacher has to have knowledge, has to show he or she knows the topic. The Virginia Company gave the beginning of the society, the society which changed the shape of the USA , permanently. The newcomers didn’t let go the efforts they made.  The others followed, had to leave Britain . England underwent the process of inevitable and invariable changes, their status was uncertain. They were persecuted due to their faith and religious beliefs. They had to flee. It was 1620 a group of men and women decided to travel across the Atlantic in search of new opportunities, life free from persecution and injustice. The Pilgrims were searching for religious freedom. They are perceived as the most important founders of the United State of America . The change was invariable and must have had consequences. The Catholicism was the predominant faith throughout most of the centuries, it has been halted in the XVI one. The urge to go and find a new world was something more than just a curiosity it was an escapism, a run away from persecution, underestimation and predominant violence that took place. People had chance to fight with it, instead, they chose the safest option at that time; they left everything behind. The sea was rough and unpredictable, however, no one was fearful, they knew, once they prevail, starting a new life will a new era.
